Todays tarot cards

King of pentacles - merchant
9 of chalices - well-being, satisfaction
9 of pentacles - prudence, well-being
As I am heading towards Black Friday and I am a merchant, I am taking it as a sign that I am going to have a good sales season.

Todays tarot cards

Knave of Swords: Ma'at's Scribe. A man is writing on a tablet with a sword above him, the symbol of Ma'at, Goddess of truth and justice. This card can indicate surprising news coming my way as well as the need for legal advice or simply to honor my truth and contracts.

Death: Transformation. This is probably the most misunderstood card in the tarot deck as so many think it means physical death, which it can, but it more often means transformation and the eternal cycle of death and rebirth. It often means changes that are coming that will lead to a rebirth.

10 of Pentacles: The Emblems of Power - the Crook and Flail are shown behind 10 coins. This card usually indicates inheritance or revenue from own's family (in form of a loan or investment). It can also be a loan from a business associate or someone of power, a mentor, etc.

I'm hoping this isn't showing me someone in my family will die. My father just turned 76 but is in pretty good health, so I would rather see it as transforming something else to produce wealth or an investor coming my way that will perhaps, cause a transformation in my business?

Todays tarot cards

2 of Pentacles: All pentacles deal with prosperity and wealth and are related to the element of Earth. Here, the card is called Thoth's Power with the 2 pentacles (or coins) are between a baboon, the symbol of Thoth, Lord of Wisdom, who holds the Eye of Horus in his hand. It can indicate a problem to deal with, often financial in nature, and often indicates a problem that is already in the process of being solved.

Knight of Swords: Known as the "Messenger of Ruin" (okay, this is turning into a rather dire reading!) and can indicate anger, fiery temperament, someone arguing or fighting with me.

6 of Chalices: The White Crown. The crown of ostrich feathers represents intellectual and spiritual purity. The card can indicate a clarity of vision (perhaps brought about by solving the problem the other 2 cards indicate) and useful second thoughts. Chalices also indicate emotions so this card can represent emotional clarity or vision as well.

Today's Tarot Cards

Temperance: The Genius of the Two Urns - Initiative. Moderation, harmony, serenity, happy transformation.

The Chariot: Osiris' Chariot - Victory. Triumph, success, spiritual or material evolution.

9 of Swords: The blades of Thoth. The weapons arranged around the god of magical wisdom represent divinatory power and far-sightedness. Not always positive though, it can indicate bad omens, anguish, and delay.

Kinda bewildered by this one. I have been working on some site updated (could be the happy transformation) and had a lot of success in working on the code, but not sure where the 9 of swords could fit into today.  Might have to think on this one a bit.

Todays tarot cards

8 of Pentacles: The buds on the papyrus column to be show unfulfilled potential. Since it's in pentacles, the earth and abundance suit, I usually take this to mean unfulfilled financial potential - perhaps something I am not doing to grow my business or other area of abundance in my life. The book calls it the Sacred Tree, the symbol of victory, ascension, regeneration and immortality and means stability, recognition, and ability.

10 of Cups: The Chalice of Souls. The god Horus surrounded by 10 chalices means happy union, harmony in the family, with friends or in society. Good reputation. As chalices are the suit of water and emotion, it also be me represents emotional happiness, joy.

4 of Wands: Kephri's Glory. The winged scarab represents Kephri, symbol of the rising sun and the cycle of day and night, life and death. It can mean intuition, a project to be finalized, unexpected good occasion. The wands is the suit of air and the intellect.

A better reading than yesterday to be sure (and there was no major catastrophe that I know of)

Todays tarot cards

Seems like lots of change happening today!

The Devil: This is one of those cards I have problems interpreting. By the book, it means sexual attraction, enchantment, fascination, suggestion, originality, diversity. Person endowed with strong magnetism. It can also mean nastiness, violence, hate, perversion, obstacles of all types due to the interference by others or one's own mistakes.

The Tower:  This one usually signals a catastrophe - a huge event that impacts everything and requires change or decisiveness to overcome.

8 of Swords: Sobek's teeth. Bad news, inner crisis, censure, impediments, inconvenience.

Okay, so not a good day - or a warning to not let it be a bad day. It is in line with the Celtic Cross spread I did yesterday that spoke of a lot of obstacles in present and immediate future. Trying to think if there is something critical I need to take care of today to avoid the catastrophe the tower warns about. Time to check my email!
