Work: Two of Swords. A stalemate situation. One where I'm afraid to move or decide.
Unexpected: Queen of Wands. Always busy with lots of projects in progress.
My Role: Seven of Wands. I can win thru any situation by staying calm & basing decisions on facts.
Outcome: Ace of Swords. A powerful card of victory & triumph over difficulties. I have the ability to overcome any setbacks and adversity.

I've seen similar themes lately in my readings of triumph over adversity, making decisions based on facts. As I am facing a few very crucial issues at the moment, this seems like a very good omen and that I need to move forward instead of hiding or trying to avoid the situation (which I admit I have been doing for the most part).

5 Card Reading

Trying out the Gilded Tarot deck for a change and doing it's 5 card daily reading.

1. Work: Three of Wands. Moving forward & making progress on my plans.
2. Home: Five of Wands. Arguments, disagreements, battles.
3. Unexpected: Seven of Cups. Lots of choices that can be distracting, but easily chosen if I focus.
4. My Role: Ten of Swords. The end of a difficult situation, but one that will move me forward.
5. Outcome: Seven of Wands. Battles, but ones I can win.

I've been playing with this deck for a few days now and the 3, 5 and 7 of wands keep coming up. I believe they indicate my current pattern - fighting to move forward but battles I can win.

Today's Card: Ten of Pentacles Reversed

Today I drew the 10 of Pentacles which normally means Ease, Home, Family Income & Inheritance. Reversed it means a lack or problem of these things.

Not a card I really wanted to see today :P

Daily drawing for June 26, 2012

As I just wrote Getting back to basics on Mystical Musings, connecting to Spirit is on my mind as I pull a card.

The card I pulled was the 7 of Wands, reversed. This card usually indicates a challenge and that you will have to stay strong to surpass it. Reversed, it indicates a victory over a challenge. Perhaps the challenges I've been having the past few months passing as I start to reconnect to my Spirit and myself.

Today's Reading: What should I be grateful for today?

I started reading "The Magic" by Rhonda Byrne which is all about gratitude, so before I drew today's card, I thanked the Goddess and asked "What should I be most grateful for today?"

The card I drew is The Hierophant which is a card of wisdom, especially Divine Wisdom as it is one of the Major Arcana which often indicates spiritual and divine guidance working in your life. So I will be grateful today for all advice and insights I get from any source.
