Judgement - The 20th Card of the Major Arcana
In my deck, Anubis, the guide of the dead, is leading the soul to the Duat, the Egyptian afterlife.
The card Judgement reminds me to take a step back and see if the situation you are in (or considering) serves you or not. It came up a lot for me during the end of my relationship with my fiance and I didn't understand why at the time. In hindsight, I realize it was trying to get me to see if the relationship was what I really wanted - which it was not though I was unwilling at the time to let it go. It was comfortable and staying in comfort is always easier than facing the unknown.
Judging your current situation can be difficult - it is easy to see things in hindsight as in the relationship with my fiance, but when you are in the middle of it is another story. Anubis here reminds me that there is a guide for whatever choice I make. Someone that will stand beside me even in the darkest times (death) to show me the way.

7 of Chalices - Today's Tarot Card
The 7 of Cups is today's tarot card.
Cups is the suit of water and the emotions.
This card has 7 chalices in front of a house. One of the cups rests on the ground with 2 below reminding me of emotions that might be buried rising up to the surface - the idea of getting your house in order.
Other cups float above the house speaking of "As Above" the other half of the maxim "As Above, So Below" and the imagination. Thoughts may be seen as flighty or fantasy rather than grounded in reality.
The 7 cups indicate choices that can be made which can be too many choices and can indicate temptation (especially when reversed).
Not certain how this might relate to my day today though.

Temperance is Today's Tarot Card
Today's card is Temperance - the 14th card of the Major Arcana
This is one of the cards I have a hard time understanding - not sure why, so I pulled some information below from the book meaning which I usually don't do.
A person with wings stands upon the world wearing wings on their feet as well. He holds 2 vessels, one that appears empty and a radiant sun is behind him. The figure is neither obviously male or female - a hermaphrodite indicating a balance between the genders.
The wings make the figure a creature of air, though he stands upon solid land which speaks to me of "as above, so below" and is more mindful of their path than the Fool is. The 2 cups are said to represent the sub and super-conscious minds perhaps advising us to stay grounded in our path, yet focused on our goals and dreams in order to achieve the promise of the Sun which to me always speaks of joy and ultimate happiness/success.
I can see the things the book talks about in the symbolism of this card. I see it now as a reminder to temper my day with all the tasks I want to do, as well as the fun I want to have. To stay grounded as I move thru the day.

Strength is Today's Tarot Card
Todays tarot card is Strength, the 11th card in the major arcana.
While it can mean physical strength, this card to me has always meant courage and spiritual strength. Putting your hand in the lion's mouth is a matter of trust, courage and strength of will - having the strength to do things that must be done and the trust that the universe will support and aid you.
It also indicates a need to stand strong in the face of danger - feeling the solid ground under you and the Gods above you supporting whatever it is you need to do.
Not sure what strength it is telling me I need today - my plans only involve renewing my driver's license. While I am expecting a lot of sitting around and waiting at the DMV, we'll have to see what else today might hold.

The Ace of Cups
Today's card is the Ace of Cups.
Cups or chalices tend to deal with water and the emotions. To me, this card symbolizes being supported (emotionally and otherwise) but the Gods or family and friends to realize my potential.
I see myself as the Cup in this card being empty, but ready to be filled in order to realize my potential or goals.
The cup rests on a stable table speaking to emotional stability as well as support.
As I have decided to get back to basics of daily meditation (including via the tarot), I see this as indicative of being on the right track with this plan and that I will have the support of the Gods to do so.
